Home Inspector Class Schedule and Information
Dan Cullen has been active in adult education since 1991. Here are a few of Dan's qualifications:
- Taught new recruits at the Chicago Fire Academy
- Taught First Aid and CPR to private industry groups
- Trained Police and Fire Departments to deal with Biological Agents
- Is licensed by the State of Illinois to teach prospective Home Inspectors
Two class sessions per year are what we strive for - one in spring and a second in the fall.
To comply with the Illinois Home Inspection Statute, classes must have at least 60 (sixty) contact hours and must include 10 (ten) hours of on-site home inspection work.
Classes are geared toward those students with a background in construction or remodeling. However, any student willing to put in enough hours can master the curriculum and pass the state exam. If you're a member of the building trades and would like to use your accumulated knowledge in a way that lessens the abuse on your body, give us a call! If you're tired of the corporate world and want to get outdoors and protect the real estate consumer, drop us a line!
